NTPC Lara the 1600-megawatt power station celebrates its 10th raising day on 13th December 2022. On this occasion Shri Diwakar Kaushik, ED, Lara unfurled the NTPC Flag and addressed the employees on recent performance of Lara station. In his address Shri Kaushik, described NTPC Lara station is moving forward very fast by surpassing all initial hurdles. Having the distinct feature of introduction of 800-megawatt super critical technology coupled with the objective of providing eco-friendly and affordable electricity for nation building in this calendar year till date power houses of NTPC Lara generated 8107 million units with 82.80 percent Plant load factor (PLF). On 21st November NTPC Lara achieved its most desired milestone by receiving coal through its own Meri-Go-Round rail link from Talaipali coal mine. This service will ensure fuel security of Lara station for providing uninterrupted power supply to state Chhattisgarh and central Indian states, as Chhattisgarh got the lion’s share of 50 percent generated electricity from this station.
On this occasion a cake cutting ceremony was organized besides certificates were distributed to the successful candidates of Harvard Manage Mentor programme.
Among others Shri Akhilesh Singh, GM (O&M), Shri Rajeev Ranjan, GM (FM), Shri SK Roy, GM (Operation), Shri Ravi Shankar, GM (Project), Shri Vijende Singh, AC, CISF, representatives of union and association, HoDs, senior executives, employees and associates were present on this occasion.
